Jeraldine O Secor

Jeraldine O. Jerry Secor age 88 of Toledo passed away suddenly Saturday July 28, 2012 in Flower Hospital. She was born August 2, 1923 in Toledo to Jess and Doris Meister Ottgen. A 1941 graduate of Scott High School, she attended the University of Toledo and earned her Bachelors degree from Bowling Green State University, where she was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority. Jerry was a charter member of the Toledo Bar Association Auxiliary, a member of the alumni associations of both Bowling Green State University and the University of Michigan, the Presidents Council of Hillsdale College and the Ottawa Hills Garden Club. She was a past member of the Toledo Club, Toledo Country Club and the Inverness Club. Preceded in death by her sister Marilyn Miller, she is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard T. Secor; son Thomas O. Susan R. Secor; daughter Susan Edward Watters; grandchildren Richard R. Secor, Jennifer Bergman and Ann Watters; and great-granddaughter Lucy V. Bergman. Friends may visit the family in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Tuesday from 4-6 PM where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment to follow in Historic Joy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Presidents Council of Hillsdale College 33 E.
