Jennifer Lynn Snyder

Jennifer Lynn Snyder, age 49, died peacefully at her Ottawa Lake home surrounded by loving family on March 1, 2017. Jenni was born July 1, 1967 in Toledo and graduated from Sylvania Southview High School in 1985. She was an orthodontic assistant with Lenhart Orthodontics where she was fondly known as Frank. She also worked part time at Costco and cleaned houses on her days off. Filled with energy, Jenni enjoyed running and water-skiing, was a talented cook and baker and was Kid Rocks biggest fan. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and will be remembered for her patience and kindness, often encouraging others to pray more and worry less. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Scott Douglas Snyder, whom she married on May 12, 1989; daughters, Paige Elizabeth and Courtney Jean Snyder; mother, Linda (Greene) Bretsch; father and step mother, Michael and Jackie Bretsch; sisters, Mary Hoch, Tina Bing and Jessica Bretsch; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-7 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where a scripture service and sharing of memories will begin at 6:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 6, 2017 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI 48182, where additional visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
