Jennifer L. Smith

Jennifer Lynn Smith, 42, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Pemberville Lifestyle Community. She was born December 23, 1980 in Oregon, Ohio to Keith and Debra (McPherson) Ducket. Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree from Mercy College of Ohio in Nursing. She married Terry Smith, Jr. on November 7, 2003 and they would have shared 20 years together this year.

Jennifer was a nurse for many years at St. Charles. Jennifer was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ in Oregon. She was an avid reader and a foodie. Jennifer was a computer wiz and loved social media. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, especially, Lauren Daigle. Jennifer loved spending time with her boys and attending their activities. She loved helping people and would always put everyone first before herself. Jennifer will be missed for her caring and loving nature.

She is survived by her husband, Terry, Jr; children, Noah and Ben; parents; father and mother-in-law, Terry (Mona) Smith, Sr.; sister, Lindsay (Brad) Loving and sister-in-law, Tammy (Jason) Wood. She was preceded in death by her son, Zachary R. Smith.

Friends and family will be received Monday, June 5, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
