Jennifer L. Johnson

Jennifer L. Johnson, 44, of Martin, died Tuesday evening, December 26, 2017, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Jennifer was born June 7, 1973, in Oregon, Ohio, to Roland C. and Janice (Shepard) Sandrock. On October 24, 1998, in Williston, Ohio, she married Gary R. Johnson, who survives her. She worked as a paraprofessional, having been a teachers aide for the Genoa Area Local Schools preschool for the last several years. For seven years she worked with North Pointe Educational Service Center. Jennifer was involved with 4-H for most of her life. She was an advisor for the West End Bunch for ten years and was on the Livestock Committee at the Ottawa County Fair. Camping and attending her childrens sports were two of her favorite hobbies. She was a fan of the Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns and the Indians. Jennifer was very much a people person, and to her no one was a stranger. In addition to her loving husband, Gary, Jennifer is survived by her children, Caleb, Luke and Aiden; brother, Ronald (Amy) Sandrock; parents, Roland and Janice; mother-in-law, Avis Johnson, and father-in-law, Alan Johnson; brother-in-law, Warren Johnson; niece, Meghan, and nephews, Tyler, Zach, Reece and Rylan; and grandmothers, Jeanette Shepard and Edna Sandrock. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Warren Shepard and Ralph Sandrock, sister-in-law, Karen Johnson, and brother-in-laws, Randall and Jeffery Johnson. Visitation will be Friday, December 29, 2017, from 2-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo St., Williston, with burial to follow in Allen Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions for Jennifer may be given to establish a scholarship in her name through the Genoa Area Local Schools Scholarship Foundation, P.O. 98, Genoa, OH 43430.
