Jennifer Lynn Horner, a kind and intelligent soul, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2024, at the age of 37. Jennifer was the epitome of a driven and selfless individual, whose life was a testament to her incredibly caring nature. Her husband Bobby, her children, and her entire family & friends were her whole world. There are no words to describe the hole left in the lives of those closest to her.
A graduate of Northview High School, Jennifer went on to earn her RN BSN degree from Lourdes University. She dedicated her career to work in the Cardiovascular ICU and as an ECMO Specialist. She touched countless lives with her expertise, skill and selfless commitment to her patients and their families. She was a nurse’s nurse, she trained and mentored many nurses who came to and worked in the CVICU with her knowledge, perseverance and patience. It has been said she had a way of explaining CVICU that made it so damn easy.
Jennifer’s kind spirit was matched by her intelligence and wit, always ready with a witty quip that could lighten any room. A strong advocate for enjoying life and being true to oneself, she inspired many with her incredibly caring approach to life. Her motto was “Just keep swimming.” Jennifer’s hobbies included gardening, where she nurtured growth with the same love she showed her family, and making homemade sourdough bread, a craft she perfected with patience and care.
Her love for shopping for deals was well-known, always seeking the best for her loved ones. Jennifer’s presence was a gift, her laughter a melody, her smile a ray of sunshine and her memory a treasure cherished by her husband, Bobby; children, parents, and all who were fortunate to be part of her circle of family & friends.
