Jeffrey J. Ohm 50, of Port Clinton OH, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born on August 24, 1961, the son of Marvin B. and Myra A. Kuzma Ohm. Jeff valued many years of hard work as a carpenter and superintendent for Mosser Construction. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Jeff could do anything he put his mind to. He truly enjoyed working with his hands; building structures, inventing tools and woodworking. He loved to watch storms over Lake Erie, summertime cookouts and vacationing in Florida. His hobbies included watching movies, hunting/trapping, and restoring 70 Trans Ams. Also, he was an avid sports fan - always waiting for the day the Cleveland Browns would win a Super Bowl. Survivors include: Daughter: Gina Maria Justin Nemecek; Sons: Jeffrey Michael Ohm and Jacob Anthony Ohm; Mother: Myra Ohm; Sisters: Debra Ohm and Laura Anthony Ciacelli; Grandmother: Mary Ohm-Dewey and former wife: Maria Ciacelli. Jeff was preceded in death by his father and sister: Mary Susan Ohm. A Graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Kurt Borows Jr. at Catawba Island Cemetary on Monday, July 2nd, 2012 at 2:00PM, friends and family are welcome. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Jeff may be given to Stein Hospice. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
