Jeffrey Jeff Hunyor

Jeffrey Michael Hunyor Jeffrey Michael Hunyor, 30, of Portage, OH, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. He was born on February 20, 1985, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to Timothy A. and Sandra L. (Gable) Hunyor. Jeff worked for Walmart in Bowling Green, Ohio, and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Toledo. He always had a smile on his face and was very kindhearted. Jeffrey was a friend to everyone and often acted as the peacekeeper. He enjoyed going to car shows with his dad, fishing, collecting comic books and cards, and playing video games. His favorite game to play was Super Smash Brothers with his brother, nieces and nephews. Jeff had time to play games and watch movies with his nieces and nephews whenever they were around. Jeff always listened to Christian music. He spent many hours writing stories and talking to his large group of online friends. Jeff will be remembered for touching everyone’s heart and brightening their soul. As a co-worker and friend said of Jeff, “I’ve heard people say that in life, the people who come and go so quickly are angels; so maybe Jeff was an angel. I can say that heaven gained a good man.” ♥ Jeff will be missed by all. Jeff is survived by his parents, Tim and Sandy Hunyor of Portage; siblings, Stacey (Chad) Dennis of Pemberville and John (Toni) Hunyor of Chazy, NY; maternal grandparents, Carl and Shirley Gable of Pemberville; nieces and nephews: Damien, Timothy, Syenna, Victoria and Amelia Dennis, Andrick, Malachi and Elexia Hunyor. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Mary Hunyor and uncle, Louis Hunyor, Jr. Friends will be received on Sunday, December 20, 2015, from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133) where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. A Requiem Mass will be held on December 21, 2015, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 628 Locust St, Toledo, Ohio 43604. Burial will follow at St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Toledo.
