Jeffrey S. Harrison

Jeffrey S. Harrison, age 69, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, Jeff worked for three years at O-I in Levis in the canning department. Then he worked at Buckeye Cablesystem, where he stayed until his retirement.

He served in the US Army at Camp David in communications, which led him to his degree in engineering. He also got a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

He went to Perrysburg High School and resided in Perrysburg.

He had a passion for travel, with Aruba and the Outer Banks, NC being two of his favorite places.

Jeff found joy in flying stunt kites at night, lighting up the skies with his friends in Perrysburg. He had a deep love for animals-- especially dolphins, eagles, and elephants—and was known for his generous, fun-loving spirit. Jeff always had a joke ready, a smile on his face, and would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

His laughter, his smile, and his sense of humor and all the stories he told will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his significant other, Susan Miller. He is also survived by his daughter Michelle Harrison and son Jesse Harrison. Susan’s children Nicole, Alison, and Nate (wife Meghan) Miller, along with all the grandkids (Simon, Lydia, Gwen, Langston, Jaxson, Adriana, Haleigh and Addisyn.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, James S. and Dorothy B. Harrison, and his brother James “Steve” Harrison.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio.
