Jeffrey Allen Harris Jr., 41 of east Toledo died unexpectedly in his home on February 12, 2018. He was born to Jeffrey Harris and Madonna (Lampros) Deuschle on April 20, 1976. He married his love and best friend, Hillary on November 23, 2010. Jeff formally worked at the Toledo Blade as a carrier for 15 years. Jeff lived a rather laid back life. He had a passion for music and spent a lot of his time playing games and watching new movies, his favorite being “Suicide Squad”. He and Hillary made it a daily tradition to watch “The family Feud”. Often times, you would find him outside working on one of the cars. Jeff was a true family man. Despite his health problems, he was a proud man who did his best to support his family. He never wanted to be seen as soft, but when his granddaughters came around, he couldn’t have been any softer. On holidays, he had a bright cheery side of him that most of the time was well hidden. We are all going to miss his turkey dinners and more so his interesting outlooks on conspiracy theories. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Hillary, son Kevin, Daughters Amber (Steven) and Jessica, granddaughters Leah and Madison, mother Madonna and step-father Mark Deuschle, uncle Cal Harris, God children/nephews and niece Jake, Steven and Victoria, sister-in-law Tiffany (Butch), mother and father-in-law Marcie and Mike Essing, “brother” Charles “Uwe” Englehardt and his beloved canines Sasha, Duke and Bella. He is proceeded in death by his father Jeffrey A. Harris, Son Jeffrey A. Harris III, maternal grandparents Ralph and Hazel Lampros and fraternal grandfather Stanley Harris. Visitation for Jeff will take place at Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, followed by cremation. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family.
