Jeffrey Scott Byington

Jeffrey Scott Byington, 50, of Sandusky, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 05, 2017 at his residence. Jeff was born on March 15, 1967 in Bellflower, CA, the son of Robert Scott Byington and Patricia Ann (Herold) Jensen. Jeff worked as a yacht broker. He loved to travel, music, being with friends and cars. Jeff loved being a father and spending time with his son and family, sharing stories and laughing. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are: Mother: Pat Jensen; Son: Elye J.J. Byington; Sister: Nicole B. DeFreitas; Brother: Steven Byington; Niece: Ava DeFreitas; Nephews: Gaberiel L. DeFreitas and Alexander J. DeFreitas; several loving Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. Jeff was preceded in death by his father: Robert Scott Byington, step-father: Kenneth Jensen, brother: Thomas Richard Cross Byington, Grandfathers: Robert Leroy Byington, Robert L. Herold & Arne Jensen, grandmothers: Mary Louise Byington, Inez E. Wilson & Karla Jensen. Visitation will be from 5-6PM, Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00PM.
