Jeffrey Allen Burnep, 63, of Maumee OH, passed away on June 25, 2017 at St Lukes Hospital. He was born on August 29, 1953 in Toledo to Thomas and Beverly (Brenneman) Burnep. Jeffrey was a member of the Ohio Carpenters Union as a Master Carpenter. He was even a teacher of the Craftsman Trade. Jeff had many hobbies, including avidly writing, reading, doing crossword puzzels and fishing. He loved music and was a great trumpet player. A great story teller and the life of any party, his nickname was Big Fun Burney. He will be missed by all who knew him. Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by daughters, Jennifer Kiernan (John) and Kate Burnep; son, Thomas Burnep (Jessica Vollmar); his loving partner, now and forever, Julie St. John; grandchildren, Chase Fults, Zachary Radulski, Jonathan, Jack, Jeffrey and Joslynn Burnep; sister, Julie Burnep (Kevin Rita); brothers, Jay and Jon Burnep; and nephews, Gregory and Benjamin Burnep. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 29, from 3-7pm at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, where a memorial service will be held on Friday, June 30, at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 East River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
