Jeffy was born September 8, 1983 in Toledo, Ohio to Valerie A. Beck and Jeffrey J. Burks. His willful personality was evident from the start, as was his love of family. He attended St. Agnes and Bedford Schools, graduating from Bedford High School in 2001. His love of God and country led him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps where he graduated from Parris Island on September 7, 2001. Jeff served in the Iraq War and was stationed in Okinawa. Upon completion of service, he was discharged with the rank of Corporal. He was an avid music lover, a talented drummer and guitarist, motorcycle enthusiast, animal lover and never met a tattoo he couldnt conquer. He adored his Daddy, his Momma, and his sisters. Preceded in death by his Papas, Robert E. Burks and Arnold W. Beck, he is survived by his parents, Valerie Tracy Ball and Jeff Cyndi Burks; sisters, Pam Jeff Logsdon, Winnie Burks Jason, and Amy Burks Jason; Grammas Molly Burks and Norma Beck; step-siblings, Jeni and Greg Nikki Morgan, Jessie Scott Workman and Kelly Gregg Holland; 13 nieces and nephews; and his sweetheart, Kellie Zeno. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Saturday, November 2 from 2-8 PM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 4 at 10 AM. in Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will be private.
