Jeffery Johnson

Jeffery Johnson passed on January 3, 2015, at his home. Jeff graduated from Genoa High School and was self employed. He had previously worked for Tiger Manufacturing and Oscar-Larson. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He was also an avid reader, especially Stephen King novels and a fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Jeff was attentive to his niece, especially while playing euchre, saying, Those 9s and 10s never lose! He enjoyed playing video games with his nephews and taking them to the movies. Survivors include his father, Alan R. Johnson, mother, Avis M. (Carpenter) Johnson, brothers, Warren and Gary (Jennifer) Johnson, step brother, Joe (Tonya) Kutchenriter; aunts, Diana (Dave) Shook and Thais Carpenter-McTaggert, uncle, Philip (Roseann) Johnson, niece, Meghan Johnson, nephews, Caleb, Luke and Aiden Johnson and Jayden Kutchenriter; great uncle, Frederick Fritz Lau and ex sister-in-law, Wendy B. Johnson; cousins, Sherrie, Michael and Susan Biggs and Cyndee (Bobby) Tokash. Also surviving are many cousins, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen A. Johnson, brother, Randall E. Johnson, grandparents, Waldo and Violet Carpenter, Clarence and Elsie Johnson and step brother, Todd Simpson. A memorial service for Jeff will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015, at St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo St., Williston, with a gathering for family and friends following the service; casual attire, please. Memorials for Jeff may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551; or St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo St., P.O. Box 235, Williston, OH 43468. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH 43430, assisted the family with arrangements.
