Jeff R. Walter

Jeff R. Walter, age 59, of Point Place, died October 6, 2017 at his home. He was born August 24, 1958 in Toledo to the late Richard and June Walter. A 1976 graduate of Whitmer High School, Jeff was employed as a chemical operator at Perstorp, Inc. for more than 30 years, retiring in 2015. Jeff was an avid boater and life-long member of Riverview Yacht Club. He also enjoyed vacationing and spending time with family and friends. Friendly and personable, Jeff will also be remembered for his unique sense of humor. Surviving are his daughter, Laura Walter; and three brothers, David (Debbie), William and Tom (Terry) Walter. A celebration of Jeffs life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2017 at Riverview Yacht Club, 5981 Edgewater Dr., Toledo, OH 43611. Committal services will be private. Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donors choice.
