Jeanne A. Winzeler

Jeanne A. (Gidley) Winzeler, 91, of Perrysburg, Ohio, died Friday, August 5, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 5, 1925, to William D. and Helen H. (Coy) Gidley. Jeanne graduated from Waite High School in 1942. She married her sweetheart, William A. Winzeler, in Toledo, Ohio, on June 28, 1947. They spent 50 years together until his passing in 1997. Jeanne was a devoted member of Zoar Lutheran Church. She loved playing bridge, gardening, reading, watching movies and traveling. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Peter) Rue; son, Scott D. (Deborah) Winzeler; grandchildren, Nicholas C. and Abigail A. Rue. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Friends will be received at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 East Indiana Ave., Perrysburg, Ohio, for a memorial service on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Zoar Lutheran Church, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
