Jeanette Ziehr

Jeannette M. Ziehr, 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Swanton Valley Center in Swanton, OH. She was born on November 10, 1931 in Swanton, OH to Glen and Dorothy (Kruez) Roehrig and married Carl. R. Ziehr.

Jeanette loved gardening and bowling as well as playing cards. You could often find her enjoying taco salads and strawberry milkshakes. Her greatest pastime and joy in life was visiting her grandchildren.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Carl T. (Lisa) Ziehr; sister, Joyce (Lynn) Aultman; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with nieces and nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 11:30 to 12:30 in Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee, OH 43537. Burial will follow at 1:00 pm at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
