Jeanette Marie Keller was born on February 25, 1942 in Adrian, Michigan. She was one of two children raised by the union of the late John Gear and the late Genevieve (Brown) Gear. Jeanette attended Anthony Wayne High School where she graduated with the class of 1960. Jeanette married the love of her life, James Tipping on December 13, 1980, in Holland, Ohio and together they raised a family with two children. Jeanette grew up on a family farm, learning the value of hard work. Her upbringing was evident, as she was a wonderful provider for her family making sure everyone had everything they needed. She loved spending her time outdoors, often working in her vegetable garden, smelling lilacs and on the tractor mowing. Jeanette had a great sense of humor and a huge spirit. She had many friends made along the way and would often be caught chatting with many of them at the local Kroger. She was known making her famous homemade noodles when family was expected for dinner. In her spare time, Jeanette could be found playing solitaire on the computer, catching up with family on the phone, writing literature especially poems or cuddled up with her canine companion, Annie.
