Jeanette E. Moenich

Jeanette E. Moenich, 86, of Perrysburg and formerly of Parma, Ohio died, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Heartland of Perrysburg. She was born in Lakewood, Ohio on September 23, 1925 to Thorwald J. and Elsie G. (Kocar) Hansen. She was a loving wife to Robert Leonard Moenich whom she married on January 19, 1946 in Cleveland. For over 16 years, Jeanette worked in the offices of Allis Chalmers. Jeanette is survived by her son, Terry (Fran) Moenich; granddaughters, Catherine M. Ross and Leslie M. Moenich; great-grandchildren, Blake and Erica Ross; and nephew, Daniel Hansen along with many dear family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Thorwald; mother, Elsie (Kocar) Moenich Spencer; husband, Robert; and brother, George Hansen. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6 -8 P.M. on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Hopko Funeral Home, 6020 Broadview Road, Parma, Ohio 44134 (216-631-4888) where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Heartland Hospice of Toledo or The American Cancer Society.
