Jeanette Lutz

Jeanette Jan Harriett Schuette Lutz, age 87, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2007, at her home with her loving family surrounding her. She was a lifelong resident of Toledo, born on January 28, 1920, to Joseph and Esma May Salisburry Schuette. She married Roswell Ross Lutz, the love of her life, on November 18, 1961. Jan worked for her father in the family owned Schuettes Bar. She enjoyed singing with the Glass City Sweet Adelines which she was a member along with the Moose Lodge in Cape Coral, FL. Jan and Ross enjoyed living in Florida, camping at Sunnys Campground and dancing. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ross Lutz; children, Donna Jerome Murd, Gary Jackie Lutz, James Georgeann; daughter-in-law, Sue Lutz; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grand-children and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Lutz and brothers, Joseph, Robert, and Donald Schuette. Visitation will be on Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
