Jeanette Marie Kaiser

June 23, 1926 — April 30, 2016

JEANETTE MARIE RODEBAUGH KAISER June 23, 1926 – April 30, 2016 Jeanette Marie Rodebaugh Kaiser passed from this earthly world to “Our Father” after a short illness and a long precious life lived! How do you sum up one’s life and a mother’s unconditional love in a few simple words? Our mother was our “Rock”, the foundation of our beliefs, morals, values, and ethics. She taught us how to love and what family truly means; that there is a God who loves us all. Mom was a kind, generous soul who would give anyone “the shirt off her back.” She had the best wit, off the cuff sense of humor that left everyone shaking their heads and laughing. Mom was devoted to her husband “Smokey”, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved her sisters dearly and her best friend, Pootsie. We will miss not only her spirit; but her famous homemade zucchini bread and strawberry jam. Jeanette was devoted to Living Faith United Methodist Church since 1945 and cared so much about her “church” family. She was a homemaker and a cook for Springfield Schools for 13 years. Nettie joined the Book Club Babes in her later years and loved to get together with her “girls”. Above all, family was her world! Jeanette is survived by her loving children, Luanne M. Kaiser, Janice L. (Richard) Boyd, Thomas J. (Susan) Kaiser; grandchildren, Audra (Matt) Walters, Rhett (Danielle) Boyd, Andrew (Lori) Boyd, Lesley (Greg) Peckham, Casey (Ashley) Kaiser, Cody (Logan) Kaiser; great-grandchildren, Seth and Mya Walters, Ryan and Natalie Boyd, Easton, Mara, Rowan Boyd, Alyson and Kendyl Peckham as well as her sisters, Marjorie (Robert) Specht and Carolyn (Donald) Seethaler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel and Mary; husband, Norman E. “Smokey” Kaiser and infant daughter, Susan Kay. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jeanette to Holland Living Faith United Methodist Church, or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
