Jeanette Rose Hampton

Jeanette Rose Hampton, 84, of Toledo passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo on July 13, 2010. She was married to J. Thomas Hampton for over 50 years before he passed away. Jeanette is survived by two of her brothers, Donald Bench of Sun City, FL and Robert Bench of Venice, FL, as well as seven nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffrey Thomas, and her oldest brother, Howard Bench, formerly of Titusville, PA. Jeanette was born on April 9, 1926 in Brockway, PA. where she grew up and graduated from high school. She later moved to Toledo with her parents, Fred and Clara Bench, where she started her work career. Jeanette joined the Prudential Insurance Company working her way up to office manager, and completed a successful professional career. She retired in 1991 after 31 years with Prudential.
