Jeanette Ruby Firebaugh

Jeanette Firebaugh passed away on March 16, 2026, following a brief illness. She was born in Sugarcreek, Ohio to Charles and Ruby Voltz. She married Daniel G. Firebaugh in 1955 and had a daughter, Brenda and a son, Gary. Brenda and her husband, Al, live in Port Clinton, Ohio. Gary lives in Wooster, Ohio.

Jeanette was a grandmother to Katie and Kelly Fritz and great grandma to six energetic grand children: Carter, Ava, and Parker Krysh and Baylor, Collyns, and Beckhym Blanton.

Jeanette enjoyed her 30 plus years as head cook for Holmesville Elementary School and taking care of those she loved. Jeanette never had an unkind word for anyone. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends and family may be received on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00am until the funeral ceremony at 11:00am at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jeanette's honor may be made to Heartland Hospice in Fremont, Ohio.
