Jeanetta Ann Leslie

Jeanetta Ann (Griner) Leslie, 80, of Northwood, OH, died Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, in Perrysburg. She was born in Wood County, OH on October 9, 1935 to Earl and Cora (Snyder) Griner. She attended Lime City Elementary School and was a 1953 Perrysburg High School graduate, the youngest of nine children and the second to graduate. Jeanetta worked for the Columbia Gas Company from 1953 to 1956. On March 2, 1956 she married George M. Leslie in Angola, IN. Jeanetta was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Stony Ridge. She is survived by her husband, George; children, Clay M. (Sue Ann) Leslie of Uncasville, CN, Bryan F. (Kathy Jo) Leslie of Dundee, MI, Kevin G. (Michele) Leslie of Toledo, OH, Mark A. (companion, Janet Doss) Leslie of Toledo, OH, Amy Beth (John) Sweeney of Maumee, OH; grandchildren, Derick Leslie, Dyle Leslie, Mallory Leslie, Kendal Leslie, Kevin Reid Leslie, Jack Sweeney; one great-grandson, Logan Leslie; and brother, Herbert (Phyllis) Griner of Perrysburg, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and five sisters. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133). In following Jeanetta’s wishes, funeral services will be held privately for the family, with burial taking place in New Belleville Ridge Cemetery.
