March 18, 1929 - December 30, 2011 Jean Walker was the most unselfish person. She was always kind and never had a harsh word for anyone. She put her needs last, made friends easily, and was truly a kind and thoughtful soul. Her place in heaven has long been secured. She was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania and made homes with her husband Robert E. Walker in Ohio, Maryland, Connecticut, and Arizona. After a fine retirement and the passing of her husband of 52 years, Jean moved back to Ohio to live out her life nearer her family. She is survived by her sons family, John, Julie, Chase, and Caleb; daughters family Duane Oxley, Jennifer Marty Bross, and Lauren Kyle Andrews; sister in-law Louise ONeal and family. Her greatest loss was the passing of her daughter, Barbara at age 50. The family would like to thank the Sunset Village staff for years of compassionate care as well as the care of Dr. Mark Wentz ; and the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio in her time of need. Jean will be returned to her husbands side in Sun City West, Arizona where services will be held. Any gesture of compassion can be sent in the form of donations to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Susan G. Komen for the cure foundation. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
