Jean L. Walker

Jean L. Jeanne Walker, 83 years, of Maumee, went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sunday morning, February 3, 2013 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born September 5, 1929 in Toledo to Cecil and Jeannette DeLisle Davison. A loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Jean loved spending time with her family. Celebrating Christmas on Christmas Eve with her children, grand-children and great-grandchildren was planned for months, with love being at the heart of it. Jean was a joyful member of Hosanna Lutheran Church, Monclova. She was the widow of Richard N. Walker. Surviving is her son, Thomas Pam Walker of Maumee. Also surviving are grandchildren, Christopher Dawn Walker, Matthew Kim Walker, Andrea John Traxler, Paul Kate Walker; great-grandchildren, James, Alex and Grace; sister, Marjorie Jay; brothers, Robert Gladys Davison and Willard Mary Jayne Davison; nieces and nephews; grade school friend, Phyllis and neighborhood friends of fifty plus years, Pat and Phyllis. Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Walker; son, Gary Walker and sister, Esther Romans. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 11:00 am in Hosanna Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors, and staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg for their exceptional care given to Jean.
