Jean Marie Rettenberger, 86 of Oregon, OH passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 12, 1929 to Leo M. and Pearl M. (Mominee)Heintschel in Oregon, Ohio. She was a 1947 graduate of Clay High School. Jean was a secretary with the Jobst Medical Supply Co. with over 12 years of service. Jean was a member of St. Ignatius Church and the Christ Dunburger Ladies Auxilliary and could always be called on to bake something special. She also enjoyed Bingo and various crafts including quilting and knitting and would often provide hats to the church and grandkids. Jean loved gardening and mowing the grass with her John Deere tractor. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Kay; sister, Carol and brother, William. Surviving are her loving husband of 25 years, Walter H Rettenberger.; children, Bev (Richard), Cynthia (John), Pamela (Scott), Rollie (Sandy) and Michael (Shelly); grandchildren; Ryan and Cody, Ettore and Sara, Kevin and Andrew, Tyler and Kyrlee, Jake and Christopher and Ryan and Rachel; several great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Betty, Esther,Dolores, Marge, Janet and Theresa and brothers, Raymond and Gerald. Visitation will be held at the Hoeflinger-Bolander Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 3-8 pm. Funeral Services on Wednesday will begin with prayers at the funeral home 9:15am followed by her 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616. Interment services to follow St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be given to the St. Ignatius Building Fund, Senior Independence Health Care or Hospice of N.W.Ohio.
