Jean A. Miller

Jean A. Miller, 89, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, at Lakes of Monclova. Born on January 28, 1936, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Thomas J. and Ann R. (Spathe) Patterson.

Jean married the love of her life, Philip L. Miller, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Maumee and later became members of St. Patrick of Heatherdowns in Toledo.

Jean was a dedicated stay-at-home mother. She also gave generously of her time, volunteering for Gesu Catholic Church, St. Luke’s Hospital, and the Maumee High School Band.

Jean is survived by her daughters, Susan (Terry) Harsha and Kimberly (Walter) Hardy; her grandchildren, Brad (Christy) Harsha, Mindy (Dieter) Lawson, and Angela (Kelly) Juarez; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kellan, Helio, Gabriel, and Rafe.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Phil Miller; her son in law, Terry Harsha; and her parents, Thomas and Ann Patterson.

Jean’s family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Lakes of Monclova and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Maumee. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and Multiple Sclerosis Association of America. Arrangements by Maison Dardenne Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, Ohio.
