Jean Marie Mcgrath

Jean Marie McGrath, 85 years, of Waterville, OH, died Monday, August 29, 2011 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, with her family by her side. Born on October 4, 1925 in Hibbing, MN, she was the daughter of Gus and Anne Mueller. In 1947 Jean moved to Toledo with her husband, John who was a professional hockey player for the Toledo Mercurys. Jean worked in various hospitals as a registered nurse. The majority of her nursing career was spent at Jeep Corporation where she retired after 25 years of service. She was a very kind and loving mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed. Surviving are her sons, John McGrath, Jr. of Waterville, OH, Patrick Mary McGrath, both of Toledo, OH; daughter, Barbara Robert Larbus of Maumee, OH; 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Her husband, John, two sons, Gary and Bradley and two sisters, Ruth and Nancy preceded her in death. Services will be private .
