Jean Gorski

Jean I. Gorski, 79, of Maumee, OH passed away Sunday, January 04, 2009 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 17, 1929 in Toledo to Charles Edward and Nellie Phellps Simons. A sales clerk for Lamsons, Jean loved to bake and enjoyed baseball especially the Detroit Tigers. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Kenneth Gorski, who she married February 25, 1950; son, Richard Kathryn Gorski; daughter, Janet Gorski; daughter/granddaughter, Kimberly Eric Shankleton; grandchildren, Jason Amy Gorski, Alicia Alex Castillo, Daniel Cobb, and Danielle Thomas; great grandchildren, Naomi, Cassi, Logan, Alex Jr. and Vicki. Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Fort Meigs Cemetery.
