Jean V. Dunmyer, 91, of Northwood, Ohio, died Monday, March 20, 2017, at the Edward & Marion Knight Hospice Center, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. Jean was born in Toledo, Ohio, on August 8, 1925, the daughter of Glenn and Naomi (Mosbrugger) Seeburger. She married Gerald C. Dunmyer in Denton, Texas, on April 15, 1944, and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2014. Jean was a homemaker, who over the years had worked for the former F.W. Woolworths and Richman Brothers stores. She was very active at the Cooley Canal Yacht Club, where she was a charter member and past president of the Womens Auxiliary. She enjoyed china painting, bowling and loved to be anywhere where there was a card game or bingo! She and her husband were Florida residents for 37 years. Jean is survived by her daughters, Peggy (Denny) Asman, Kathy (Kenny) Weaver, son, Roger (Dixie) Dunmyer, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald, sisters, Ruth (Boyd) Mason, Marguerite (Gail) Griner and grandson, Joseph Dunmyer. There will be no services, per Jeans wish. The family suggests that any memorial contributions for Jean be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551; or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1 Stranahan Sq. #518, Toledo, OH 43604. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH, has assisted the family with arrangements.
