Jean E. Duffy

Jean E. Duffy, 76, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away on, Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Jean was born on November 30, 1933, in Tarrytown, NY, the daughter of Richard Raymond and Helen Vetrano Vetrano. On June 16, 1956 in Unionville, CT, Jean married Richard M. Duffy and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1999. Jean was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Jean will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Richard Michael Jenny Duffy of Louisville, KY and Martin Joseph Shirley Duffy of Catawba Island, OH; Daughters: Mary Beth Jay Appelyard of Marblehead, OH, Patti Ann Duffy of Reno, NV and Jennifer Richard Beach of Rocky River, OH; Grandchildren: Michael, Natalie, Samantha and E.J.; Mother: Helen Vetrano of Catawba Island, OH and Sister: Barbara Connole of Catawba Island, OH. Jean was preceded in death by her father and her husband. Visitation will be from 5-8PM, Friday, August 20, 2010 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, with family prayers at 9:30AM, Saturday, August 21, 2010 in the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father John Missler at 10:00AM, Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions in memory of Jean be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or Catawba Island Volunteer Fire Dept.
