Jean P. (Tarolli) Bodnar, 104, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at The Commons of Providence in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on December 23, 1916 in Aultman, PA, the daughter of the late Jerry and Mary (Stango) Tarolli. On May 4, 1940 she married Michael Bodnar and he preceded her in death. Jean was a homemaker and the oldest member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Port Clinton, and was an active member of the Altar Rosary Society. Jean also served on the volunteer sewing group at Magruder Hospital for over 25 years. Survivors include her son-in-law, Jim Brinker, granddaughters, Stacey (Jeffrey) Witter, Sandusky, OH and Jen (Rachel McCloskey) Brinker, Columbus, OH; five step great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Brinker; sister, Louise Pisani; and brothers, Liberty Tarolli and Lou Tarolli. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jonathan Wight 11am, Wednesday, December30, 2020, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St, Port Clinton, OH 43452. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial Contributions in memory of Jean made be made to the church.
