Jean M. Bihn

Jean M. Bihn, 91, formerly of Walbridge, OH who resided at Otterbein Portage Valley, Pemberville, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Jean was born to Anna S. (Heebsh) and Paul R. Davis on August 5, 1926. She was married to Wendell Bihn on August 15, 1953. After 25 years of employment with Bostwick-Braun Co. Jean joined her husband in the Bihn Well Drilling Business where she worked at his side for 16 years as the only woman Well Driller in the United States. Jean was a member of Lakewood Church of the Brethren for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Pauline Mutchler and Shirley Davis and a special niece. Jean is survived by her brother, Gerald (Patricia) Davis; step-son, Michael (Darlene) Bihn; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 special nieces. Visitation will be held at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials can be made in Jean’s memory to Otterbein Portage Valley, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Lakewood Church of the Brethren.
