Jean Eileen Bernard

Jean Eileen Bernard, 93, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Sunday, March 06, 2016, at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. Jean was born June 30, 1922, in Fremont, OH, the daughter of Robert and Hilda (Ochs) Reardon. On July 17, 1948, she married James Bernard of Tiffin, OH and he preceded her in death in on September 12, 1992. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Jean was a member of the Riverview Healthcare Auxiliary and an avid bridge player. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Left to cherish her memory: Son: John Patrick Bernard of Bowling Green, OH; Daughter: Jane Eileen (James) Keys of Marblehead, OH; Grandchildren: Katie Keys of Lexington, KY, Laura Keys of Columbia SC and Daniel Keys of Cleveland, GA; Great-Grandson: Preston McClain; Siblings: Jim Reardon, Vivian Reardon and Margaret Lehmann. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Vince Reardon, Paul Reardon and Alice Wolf. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father John Missler at 10:00AM, Monday, March 14, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Jean may be given to the Riverview Auxiliary, Attn Joyce Laubacher, 13418 W.
