Jay Winston Evanoff, age 49, of Baltimore, Maryland formerly of Maumee, OH passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014. He was born on October 13, 1965 in Toledo, OH to Boris and Elfrieda Evanoff. Jay attended Fairfield Elementary, Gateway Middle School and Maumee High School class of 1984. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1992. Jay moved to California in 1993 where he was a financial analyst for Stanford University and other Silicon Valley companies. He relocated in 2002 to Baltimore where he worked for a variety of companies. Jay had a passion for mixed martial arts, the outdoors, riding motorcycles, and scuba diving. He felt at home the most on the beach or near an ocean. Jay is survived by his sister, Julie (Brian) Ford; nephews, Benjamin and Ian Ford; niece, Hanna Ford and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his second family in Baltimore, Laurie Kourtessis and family that shared their life with Jay. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 3-8 PM.
