Jay David Lutes

Jay D. Lutes, 59 of Northwood, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Mercy St. Vincent Medial Center, Toledo, Ohio. Jay was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 30, 1967, and graduated from Northwood High School, class of 1985. He married the love of his life, Diane Marie Cline, on January 17, 1995. Jay worked in steel manufacturing for several years and retired after 30 years as a press operator with Toledo Machining in Perrysburg, Ohio April 1, 2026. He enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, and ATV's; his pride and joy being his 1972 Chevrolet Camero and his Kawasaki motorcycle. In his free time, he enjoyed assembling models and hosting family gatherings.

Jay is survived by his wife of 31 years, Diane; father, David Lutes; children, Conan (Katie-Ann) Lutes and Spencer Lutes (Courtney); sister, Tina Miller; along with many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jay & Gladys Lutes; and stepmother, Rhonda Lutes.

Private funeral services will be held for immediate family. Robinson Walker Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
