Javier A. Jay Bird Reyna

Javier Jay Bird A. Reyna, 58, of Port Clinton, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, May 14, 2019, at ProMedica-Fremont Memorial Hospital. Javier was born March 3, 1961, in Oregon, Ohio, to Jose and Rufina (Alvarado) Reyna. On November 29, 1980, in Genoa, Ohio, he married Judy Almaraz and she survives. He attended Victory Christian Fellowship in Fremont and for the last several months had worked for Auria Solutions in Fremont. He had also served in the U.S. Marines from 1980-84. Javier was a hard worker, who always put his family first. Watching TV, especially scary movies, was one of his favorite hobbies, as well as listening to 80s music and going fishing. In addition to his wife, Judy, Javier is survived by his sons, Javier Angel Reyna, Daniel Rey Reyna (Brandy) and Gabriel A. Reyna (Amy); grandchildren, Nevaeh A. Bowling and Alijah M. Murray; and siblings, Edwarda Hernandez (Domingo), Anita Campos (Floriberto), Joel Reyna and Dora Lugo (Rigoberto). He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jessica Rose Reyna and grandparents, Hiliara and Guadalupe Alvarado. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. with family present from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2019, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2019. Military honors will immediately follow the funeral service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
