Janice Ann Koralewski, age 68, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. The daughter of Edward and Earladene (Poucher) Kaminski, she was born April 23, 1950 in Toledo, OH. She was a graduate of Calvin M. Woodward High School class of 1968 and played the clarinet in the marching band throughout high school. Jan began a career at Lucas County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities as a part time bus driver and retired as a job coach after 30 years. Jan loved her grandchildren, William, Joseph, Rebecca and Isabelle with a passion unknown to mankind. She was active in various area organizations. She loved the Marble Lake, Coldwater, Mi area for vacationing. She enjoyed going out to eat with friends and family, especially those grandkids. Her shopping habits were legendary within the immediate family. These habits were the type that legends are made of. She simply loved shopping. Jan loved her four legged children as well. Charlie and May are rescue Cocker Spaniels that gave her much joy and love. They certainly miss their Mom. Along with her grandkids and shopping, shopping, shopping, she enjoyed time with her friends at Bunco, Elks Club, Towne Club and serving on the board of Anne Grady Human Rights. Her travels to Florida, Frankenmuth, Mi and Coldwater, Mi were highlights as well. She is survived by her husband Cas; children, Casimir Joe (Sara) Koralewski and their daughters, Rebecca and Isabelle; Stephen Koralewski and his son, William; daughter, Amanda Koralewski and her son, Joseph; brother, Tom (Christine) Kaminski; aunt and uncle, Averala Ann & Howell Poucher; uncle, Frank Schmidlin; several cousins, nieces, nephews and grandnieces & grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Kaminski. Friends may visit this Saturday from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd) where a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
