Janet Mae Suleski

Jan Suleski age 79 of Maumee Ohio passed away Wednesday May 23, 2018. She was born April 21, 1939 the second of four girls (Imogene, Carroll, Marsha) to Vincent and Edna wise in Bellevue Ohio. Jan worked at David Broadways Salon in Sylvania, Ohio for over 40 years working with some clients that entire time. She relished her kitchen and loved cooking for her family, friends and anyone in need. Her gardens were always bountiful with flowers, fruit and vegetables, which she generously shared. We will miss the world’s best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies she always seemed to have whenever anyone visited. She loved playing cards, entertaining and solving the world’s problems while cutting hair. She was active in her community at St Luke’s Hospital Auxiliary and a long-standing member of St. Joseph parish in Maumee. Jan was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who never forgot a birthday and always made your favorite flavor cake to celebrate. She will be dearly missed and is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, John; Son, Robert (Jamie) Topp; children Natalie and Lauren; Daughter Susan Moriarty; children Katlyn and Connor; and Daughter Melinda (Jeff) Kromenacker; children Jeff and Courtney and Courtneys three children Ava, PJ and Savannah. Step children Krystal (Greg) Bowman, Michael Suleski, Julie (Steve) Pilcher, Lori (Tim) Womac and Kelly (Gary) Olson. She was loving step grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Nana we will miss you. The funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 West Broadway, Maumee, Ohio.
