Janet Reed Ramser

Janet Reed Ramser, 78, of Perrysburg, passed away unexpectedly October 25, 2021, at St. Anne’s Hospital in Toledo. Janet was born February 19, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio to George and Enid (Reed) Breitner. She graduated from Libbey High School. Prior to retirement, she worked as a legal secretary for Britz & Dorrell, Marshall Melhorn, Eastman & Smith, and Shumaker Loop & Kendrick. After retirement, she worked in the makeup industry, for Clinique. Janet was an avid Michigan football fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and Formula 1. She liked shopping and her dogs. She fought a courageous battle with breast cancer and was a proud survivor. Janet will be remembered for her fun-loving personality and her love for her twin grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Melville; grandchildren, Hunter Reed Melville, and Piper Reed Melville; former husbands, Lloyd Grant and James Ramser; brother, Craig and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce. Services for Janet will be private. Arrangements were handled by Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg, Ohio.
