Janet M. Vodicka

Janet Marie Vodicka, age 75, of Lakeside-Marblehead, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio.  She was born on July 6, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to Elmer and Mary (Bastic) Dlouhy.  Janet was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Lakeside-Marblehead and enjoyed playing cards, perch fishing, bowling and tending to her flowers. Most of all, Janet loved her family; especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her husband, Roger; daughters, Melissa Vodicka, Faye (Julia) Vodicka, Donna (Tony) Senyitko and Michelle Cerny; grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha (Colt), Justin, Ashely, Sarah, Ryan (Alyssa) and Nicole (A.J.); great grandchildren, Ataleya, Kaynen, Hailey, Ella, Maddie and Alice; sisters, Diane Spring Dlouhy and Joanie (Gary) Law. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Vodicka, her parents and sister, Rose Fiala.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the Gerner-Wolf Walker Funeral Home, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, August 15, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lakeside-Marblehead. Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
