Janet Newman-Lowe It is with great sorrow we had to say goodbye to our Mother, Nana, Great Nana, Sister, and Friend on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Janet was born on June 20, 1936, to Waldo and Ruth (Donovan) Newman in Rockford Ill. Everyone Janet met was touched by her loving nature and sense of humor, with a quick wit Janet never missed a beat and laughed easily. Janet enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived and cherished by her loving daughter Dianne (John) Worden; grandson Michael ( Kristy) Worden; great grandson Landen M Worden; sister Carolyn Franklin; life partner Curtis Picklesimer; and best friend Nancy Mc Dermott. She was preceded in death by her father Waldo Newman; mother Ruth Newman; husband Phillip Lowe; infant son James D Lowe; brother Kenneth Newman; and sister Shirley McConville. Friends will be received on Sunday January 19, 2014, from 12:00pm until the time of services at 2:00pm in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121). Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family would like to give a special thank you to Pro Medica Home Health care, and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the loving care and compassion they gave to Janet and her family.
