Janet M. Konwinski

Janet M. Konwinski age 81 of Toledo passed away Tuesday November 20, 2012 in her home. She was born March 21, 1931 in Holland, Ohio to Alfred and Dorothy Stirn Pawlicki. A graduate of Holland High School, she went to work at Lamsons Department Stores, then worked 22 years for the former A P Stores as an accounts payable clerk, finishing her career at LaSalles in the same capacity. She enjoyed playing cards and slot machines, latch hook and cross stitching, shopping, and going to garage sales. She also enjoyed polka dancing and was a Marv Herzog Blue Jacket. She was an avid University of Michigan, Detroit Lion and NASCAR fan. Surviving is her husband of 60 years, Robert; children Michael R. Mary-Ellen Toth Konwinski and Peggy A. Terry Slaughterbeck Krueger; brother, Jerry E. Gloria G. Pawlicki; grandchild Tiffany M. Krueger; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may visit the family on Sunday and Monday from 2-8 PM in the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey where funeral services will begin Tuesday at 10:15 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Joan Of Arc Church.
