Janet L. Harding

Janet Louise Pryka Harding age 60 of Maumee, passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2010 at her home. She was born on December 31, 1949 to James and Arlene Pryka. Janet married her childhood sweetheart Carl Harding on June 22, 1968. She worked for the Maumee City Schools for many years. She also worked at Sweet Feed and Honey Baked Ham in Maumee. Janet enjoyed life and spending time with her husband, family and friends. Her greatest joys were her four grandchildren. She loved spending her weekends with her husband at their campground where she would sit around the campfire surrounded by her family, laughing and telling stories about the good old days. A loving and giving person who was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was also considered a second mother by many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Carl Harding; sons, Rod Tina Harding, Dean Elena Harding of Maumee; grandchildren, Brandon Helpman, Chris Harding, Lauren Harding and Logan Harding; stepmother, Marilyn Pryka; brother, Allen Pryka of Arizona; special pet Moe her cat; many brothers and sisters in law; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
