Janet J. Hall, 69, of Toledo, died on Sunday, December 4, 2011. Born in Toledo to Clarence and Pauline Bergquist, Jan graduated from St. Ursula Academy in 1960 and then from Stautzenberger College with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She married Ken Hall, and raised their four children before beginning her career in accounting, first with Sheller-Globe for a short time, then serving as an accounts payable clerk at Mercy Health Partners for 20 years before retiring in 2007. Jan was a former member of the Country Squire Garden Club, a founding member of Soroptimist International of Lucas County, and a member of the Raisin River Riders and Little Flower Parish. Her family was number one to Jan. She loved to spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren, especially at her pool. She was a good friend to many. She always knew the right thing to say at the right time. She also loved to travel, especially to the ocean and to play slot machines. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth W. Hall; children, Scott M. Hall Susan of Pensacola, FL, Donna L. Schroyer-Riesen Kent of Sylvania, Brian W. Hall Cory of Sylvania, and Jeff A. Hall Heather of Toledo; grandchildren, Bobby, Nick and Matt Hall; Tristin, Kaitlyn and Tedmund Schroyer, Sandra Kosberg; Brandyn, Kaylee and McKenna Hall; and Andrew and Sara Hall. She was preceded in death by parents and her brother, Donald Bergquist. Jans family will receive friends at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave., on Friday, December 9, from 2-8PM, with a Sharing of Memories at 7:30PM.
