Jane J. Lopez

Jane J. Lopez, age 78 of Toledo passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Ebeid Hospice Residence. She was born September 19, 1935 in Ennis, Texas to Candelario and Lucille Cruz. She was a processing clerk for Midwest Tape for 9 years, retiring in 2013. Jane was also active in Club Taino Puertorriqueno serving with them over 5 years. My mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a beautiful, strong woman who definitely had a heart of gold, a doer, go-getter and fighter to the very end just one amazing woman who was loved by many. Her kindness and grace brought the best out in everyone. She will solely be missed. Preceded in death by daughter Judy Remero and son Richard Lopez, she is survived by her husband Hector; daughters Elizabeth Randy Sink and Linda Guido; sons Hector Lopez, Jr. and Leland Glenn Barrett; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and sister Maria Cruz. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Sunday from 2-8 PM where a funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
