Jane Karen Hensley

Jane K. Hensley, 68, of Norwalk and formerly of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, January 07, 2018 at the Toledo Hospital. Jane was born on February 28, 1949 in Coeburn, VA, the daughter of Quinton and Jaquelyn (Richardson) Payne. In 1998 in Las Vegas, NV, she married Thomas Hensley and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2001. Jane was a member of the Erie Shores Assembly of God Church in Port Clinton and the Trinity Temple, Milan, OH. She and her family were business owners in Port Clinton for many years, retiring in 2003. Her life’s goal after retirement, were church, family and love of animals. Jane will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are: Daughter: Michelle (Chery Druyor) Biers; Grandchildren: Nicole (Justin) Kochensparger, Nickolas (Kristine) Biers, Heather (Tyler Stevens) Biers, Cydney Bass Kira Jones; Great-Grandchildren: Paige, Kirsten Bella Cuevas, Landon Morgan Biers, Paris London Stevens Sarah (Michael) Drum; Father: Quinton (Jackie) Payne; Siblings: Glenda (Charles) Freman, Patsy (Gene) McClellen, Cherry Whiley, Rick Payne, Lonnie (Liz) Payne and Kathryn (Randy) Carroll. Jane was preceded in death by her mother and husband. Visitation will be 10-12PM, Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, followed by the funeral service conducted by Pastor Harry Hunt and Pastor Donald New at 12:00PM. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
