Jams R Van Dromme

James R. Van Dromme age 79 of Hillsdale, MI formerly of Maumee, OH passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.  Jim was born in Perrysburg, OH on October 17, 1935 to Bodewyn J. and  Marguerite (Rogier) Van Dromme. Jim was employed at the former Ohio Bell Telephone as a central office repairman retiring after 38 years.  He was also a retired member of the Maumee Fire Department. Surviving are his children, Deborah Van Dromme, Walter (Michele) Van Dromme, Steve Van Dromme and Jennifer (Dale) Busch;  15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and  nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Nancy Van Dromme and brothers, Jerry and Jack Van Dromme. Private graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee. Memorial contributions may made to the Maumee Fire Department, 220 Illinois Avenue, Maumee, Ohio 43537.
