Jamie G. Heilman

Jamie George Heilman, 60, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo after a prolonged battle with cancer. He was born on September 1, 1958 to Norman and Veronica (Chovanec) Heilman in Oregon, Ohio. He graduated from Clay Senior High in 1976 and then earned a degree in electronics. Jamie married Janet Ann Dannibale on August 10, 1991 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Toledo. She preceded him in death in 2011. Jamie was a superb flower gardener, loved rebuilding vintage Mustangs, fixing electronics, cooking and collecting antiques. He was very well known for his exceptional residential and commercial flatwork and structural concrete work with his company Heilman Concrete. He is survived by his siblings, David (Martina), Victoria, Lawrence, Richard (Ann); sister-in-law, Patricia; children, Julie Luce, Jennifer (Ryan) McMahon; grandchildren, Randy, James and Viviana. Visitation will be at Hoeflinger- Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, OH (419-691-6768) on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 2 pm – 8 pm. On Tuesday, January 8, 2019 family and friends will be received at St. Jerome Parish, Walbridge, OH from 9 am until the start of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial will follow at North Oregon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made in Jamie’s name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 800 S.
