WILCOX JAMES B. Uncle James B. Uncle Wilcox age 71 of Hudson Michigan formerly of Toledo passed away Saturday June 13, 2009 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg. He was born February 14, 1938 in Toledo. Jim was a 1956 graduate of DeVilbiss High School, he then went on to work at Dura Corporation as a tool and die maker. After ten years at Dura, Jim embarked on opening his own machinery business, Wilcox Machinery Sales, Inc. Jim touched so many people throughout his life, whether it was through business ventures, organizations he belonged to or just the everyday encounter with him. He was also a member of Zenobia Shrine and sponsored many years of bowling and golf leagues. Jim enjoyed playing golf, traveling and most of all spending time with his family at the lake where he built his dream home. He also enjoyed taking pontoon boat rides and did so up until a few days before his passing. Preceded in death by his father Kenneth and brother Willard, he is survived by his wife Sharon; mother Doris Wilcox; brother-in-law Ed Mary Altwies; sisters Mary Jane Aellig and Diane Tom Kearney; nephews Ed Jackie Altwies and Michael Jackie Aellig; nieces Donna Bob Cline and Kristie Tim Gorsuch; great nieces Elizabeth Kristen Treen, Alexandria and Emily Altwies and Taylor Gorsuch; great nephew Jimmy Gorsuch; great-great nephew Adrian Treen; and other special nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Thursday from 1-8 PM where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 AM. Interment will be private.
